Signature Spa
Grand Velas Boutique Los Cabos has recently opened its SE Spa, introducing a new wellness experience inspired by the local surroundings. One of the highlights is the exclusive Golden Treatment, a full-body massage enriched with gold and refined fragrances, offering unparalleled rejuvenation.
The Spa features four treatment suites with ocean views, two designed for couples, and provides a seven-step Wellness Ceremony that includes a sauna, steam room, ice room, and sensory shower tunnel. Guests can also unwind in the magnesium pool, equipped with a jacuzzi and other refreshing features.
SE Spa draws inspiration from physiological rhythms and offers unique treatments such as the Ocean Sounds Massage, harmonized with vibrational bowl therapy, the Ice and Fire Therapy, which combines the heat of obsidian with the coolness of marble stones, and the Cahelmet Massage. Inspired by the biodiversity of Baja California Sur, this massage uses techniques based on local wildlife movements and regional flora aromas.
Meetings & Events
Grand Velas Boutique is perfect for meetings, corporate retreats, and special celebrations, from lush gardens and seaside terraces for 120 people to a luxurious ballroom of over 2,700 sq. ft.
Unparalleled Design
Designed by Ricardo Elías, the resort seamlessly integrates hanging terraces and captivating views of the Sea of Cortez. Its informal yet elegant architecture combines neutral colors with traditional Mexican elements, such as wooden lattices with floral texture.
The stepped layout ensures all suites receive sunlight, while the gardens and pool design resemble a natural oasis. Ernesto Vela of Vela Ruiz Arquitectos has created relaxing spaces with natural materials. The resort’s art, including the work of visual artist Adrián Guerrero, offers a thoughtful experience. Notably, the lobby features two handmade white oak benches, each valued at $100,000.
“The goal is to create a contemporary architecture with a ‘splash’ of Mexico in its design, but sophisticated, different, iconic, where the forms themselves are attention-grabbing.”
