Take a walk around the beaches. If you are interested in quiet places, we recommend a visit to Viudas, Barco Dorado and Bahía Santa María beaches. Crystal-clear waters reveal the exuberant marine life while you swim, dive or practice sport fishing. In addition, Playa del Amor and Arco beach, are two iconic sites that you can’t miss since they will set the highlights of your trip: stunning landscapes that can only be accessed by boat. For the lovers of adrenalin, the beaches Costa Azul, El Túnel, and Punta Gorda are the best options to surf the waves on your surfboard.

Whale watching. A natural sight that happens year after year in this part of the country. Visitors can witness one of the most extraordinary events in marine life, whales traveling amazing distances for mating and breeding. We recommend visiting the bays of Lopez Mateos and San Carlos to feel this amazing experience.

Plazas. Make and immersive travel by walking around the main plazas of San Jose del Cabo and visit the church; Handcrafts Center is the meeting place for local artists who offer their artwork, traditional Mexican ornaments and paintings.

Areas protected. With an extensive ecosystem from beach to desert, Los Cabos have  natural areas protected, where travelers can admire with the sight of wild animals that inhabit the area. In addition, Mision Estero de las Palmas, an extension of 123 acres of reserve, considered an excellent option for Nature exploreing aficionados. Cabo Pulmo, located at 42 miles northeast of Cabo San Lucas, and recognized as the only coral reef ecosystem in the Gulf of California.

Botanic park La Wirikuta. The name of this park remotes to the great journey done by the Huichol people that lives in the Nayarita mountain range to the highlands of Mexico desert. It provides a wonderful and wide exhibition of native plants, among which visitors find 1,500 varieties of cactus, prickly pear, cacti, desert palms, jasmine and maguey.

El Faro de Cabo Falso. Passionates of adrenaline will be amazed by El Faro de Cabo Falso, located 18 miles away from Cabo San Lucas; featuring sand dunes to practice the most extreme sports. Horseback riding and 4×4 vehicles are the only means of transport to get to this point. You will adore it!
