Los Cabos keeps surprising! this time, the online magazine USA Today, has published the top 10 beaches of Mexico and within that list, five belong to Los Cabos. In this article, I will mention the ones in the publication:
Playa Balandra
The first place in this list is Balandra Beach; it it described as a truly magical attractive beach surrounded by hills; a rock in form of mushroom is the icon for visitors. Also, it offers an immense turquoise sea and white sand that captivates the visitors.
Cabo Pulmo
This national park has a wide variety of marine species. Cabo Pulmo is located 66 kilometers northeast of Cabo San Lucas; it is famous because it is the only coral reef ecosystem in the Gulf of California.
Playa del Amor
A few meters from the iconic Arco, you will find Playa del Amor. To get here you need a water taxi that leaves from Marina Los Cabos. You can snorkel and watch wildlife in the deep ocean. Its peculiar name derives from the fusion between the Sea of Cortez and the Pacific Ocean.
Playa El Medano
This beach stretches over 3 kilometers of golden sand, luxurious resorts and restaurants.When you give your first step, the soft touch of the sand will relax you. Bring a good camera, here you will capture gorgeous natural landscapes and stunning sunsets.
Playa Tecolote
One of the most popular beaches in the region. It is located at the end of the bay near Pichilingue beach. Here you can enjoy the pristine waters and delight with delicious dishes of the region; the chocolate clams and marinated marlin are the specialty.
