It is inevitable to grasp at every sensation that Casa Velas produced in me, even as I write this review I can still sense it. A few days were more than enough for my husband and I to relish an unforgettable experience.
Upon entering this charming boutique hotel —immersed in the Marina Vallarta golf course and surrounded by exotic gardens— is when the pleasure began, injecting a sense of tranquillity at every step.
We were greeted by a colonial-style architecture, similar to that of a Mexican hacienda, adorned with traditional cobblestones, koi fish ponds, and manicured vegetation.
We felt the warm hospitality of Puerto Vallarta since we enter the lobby. A genuine smile and a heartfelt reception were waiting for us, while a lavender and citrus fragrance released our tension from our flight.
We stayed in a Wellness Suite, ideal for the rest and detachment we were seeking. The terrace delivered the perfect sunrise in all its splendor, and that we enjoyed it with a delicious cup of coffee. Its immersion pool is a nice touch to savor a refreshing cocktail in the afternoon alongside your partner, amidst the sound of the birds.
The hotel’s botanical garden was one of my favorite go-to spots, whether feeling the soft grass under my feet during a meditation session or reading my favorite book in its hanging chairs, this space is designed to revitalize the senses.
The variety of exquisite aromas and flavors from Emiliano restaurant aroused our palates and made our culinary experience truly sensational. I loved that the different dishes are prepared with homegrown ingredients that came from their botanical garden, giving the concept of organic and artisanal cuisine a unique meaning.
Casa Velas offers transportation to its very own Private Beach Club, located just 5 minutes away from the hotel, with an exquisite menu of Asian cuisine and cocktails that are perfect for spending a day by the sea breeze and the stunning Pacific sunsets.
We were captivated by the luxuries and activities, which featured painting classes, wine tastings, and yoga sessions. We sometimes forgot about the beach, as the hotel alone has a special mystical style to soothe your mind and body.
Last but not least, its hygiene and safety program is so complete that from your arrival to your departure you won’t have to worry about anything. The protocols are extremely careful and respected, in addition to the fact that both Puerto Vallarta and Casa Velas have the Safe Travels stamp granted by the WTTC, and this is a real guarantee!
I must say this lovely hotel truly became my private oasis. So if you are seeking a sanctuary to relax and disconnect from the outside chaos, Casa Velas is the ideal spot.
