The art of traveling with style
We love to travel light while keeping all the amenities and comforts; we feel attracted by meaningful places that hold stories; we have an eclectic taste in fashion but always dress with style: we are called Boho Chic gals and guys.
If you can identify with such a description like myself, and you like to fill your diary with anecdotes and memories of the places you visit, then this place could be a jewel to be added to your favorite list.

Mar del Cabo: evoking the golden years
I learned about this place from my parents, unstoppable travelers themselves from whom I have inherited the pleasure of traveling the world and literally extracting a bit of each culture I get to know. It was back in early 60’s when they stayed at this hotel –called María Gaviota at that time– and it was considered a must among visitors to Cabo. Now that it is reopened and completely renewed this iconic place, the spotlight remains over the service and hospitality, while the architecture itself still gets a lot of attention. The construction reminds of the coastal towns of the Mediterranean with stairways and alleys that descend sinuously towards the sea, while integrating typical red tiles and Mexican arches to the scene.
Sleep with class
Suites at Mar del Cabo seem like blank canvases with vivid colors here and there and with elegant details like moldings on the walls respected from the original construction, as well as talavera, unique pieces of talented artisans and ethnic textiles. Natural lighting is everywhere thanks to large windows that offer great views of the manicured gardens and gracious bridges while others allow to admire the Sea of Cortez.
Sunbeams in Cabo
Beach cabanas are stupendous spots to order tasty cocktails from the bar without stopping your tanning session. Tip: Book an oceanfront massage next to the granite rock formations – an ultra relaxing moment with the sound of the waves as the perfect backdrop.
Gastronomic corner
Stop by the Gourmet Deli, there you will find a large selection of wines mainly from the peninsula and organic products from the region: improvise a picnic by your terrace or porch while you admire one of the best views of the entire corridor.
Encanto Restaurant offers the freshest catch and seafood adding extraordinary flavors to each dish. The menu is a fantastic performance of Baja-Med cuisine that combines seafood from the coast with Mediterranean ingredients and spices; a delightful array of culinary creations you cannot afford to miss.
