Oscar 2020: winners, best moments, memes and more
Dolby Theater in Los Angeles, California was home to the 92nd Oscar Awards, which granted us with extraordinary moments throughout the night, highlighted by the many celebrities who attended this spectacular event.
This edition of the Academy Awards had the peculiarity that several of the nominees spent their vacationes on the beautiful beaches of Los Cabos. Nicole Kidman, Charlize Theron, Scarlett Johansson, Leonardo Dicaprio and Robert De Niro were some of the celebrities who visited Cabo during the year. Not to mention that Robert De Niro attended the opening of Los Cabos Film Festival.
To rejoice this awards ceremony, here are a few of the most important moments of the celebration.
Parasites, a film directed by Bong Joon-ho, was the big winner of the evening, the South Korean film was solidified as the first film presented in a foreign language to win the Best Film category. He also received the award for Best International Feature Film, Best Original Screenplay, and Best Director.

Among fan’s favorites that took home an Oscar was Joaquin Phoenix, who was the winner for the Best Leading Actor and delivered a speech that left a profound impression on the audience, while Brad Pitt won the award for Best Supporting Actor. In the women’s category, Laura Dern was the winner for Best Supporting actress and Renée Zellweger for the Best Leading Actress, for Judy film screened during Los Cabos Film Festival.
Another highly emotional moment transpired during the presentation of the song “Into the Unknown” from the movie Frozen 2, played by Idina Menzel and 9 of the world’s “Elsas”, each in their own language!
