The World’s Most Expensive Tequila and Taco Come Together to Benefit the Children of Los Cabos

Sip & Savor, el tequila y taco más caros del mundo se unen en beneficio de los niños de Los Cabos

Much has been said about the $25,000-dollar taco created by Chef Juan Licero, which has had the entire world talking about Los Cabos.

The first question that arose after hearing the news was, who will be the first person to try it? We’ll know the answer on April 28th, at an event organized by Grand Velas Los Cabos and Hacienda La Capilla distillery, creator of the most expensive bottle in the world.

At the SIP & SAVOR event, the world’s most expensive taco and bottle of tequila will be paraded through the crowd, escorted by security guards. A raffle will be held to draw the lucky diner to first taste the taco. The bottle will also be opened for the first time since its creation, to be served as a tequila pairing for the winner.

During the event, Chef Juan Licerio and his team will be preparing six different gourmet tacos, inspired by the history and culinary traditions of Mexico.

Tickets to the event are $60 dollars, including a raffle ticket. Additional raffle tickets are offered at $30 dollars each (and can only be purchased by those with a ticket to the event). A percentage of all proceeds will be donated to the Los Cabos Children’s Foundation, a non-profit association dedicated to helping children and youth throughout Baja California Sur. The foundation supports private and public programs focused on the treatment of cancer, autism, hearing, vision and dental issues, as well as congenital heart disease, among other illnesses.

If you’d like to have a chance to be the first person to enjoy the most expensive experience in the world, call 1 888 210 9591 to buy tickets or send an email to events@velasresorts.com.
